Unit Price Book (UPB) Related Documents and Software
Deliverable includes: 2 CDROMs of JOCTool software with electronic version of Final UPB, 2 printed (Volume I) JOC National Specifications, 5 printed (Volume II) localized UPBs and 5 volume III.???? The final documents incorporate comments made by the facility on the draft UPB.
JOCTOOL Software
JOCTool is intuitive and easy to use. A site license is included in the Final UPB. Modifications for increased software capability and custom reports are also available.
Software Training
JOCTool software training is performed on-site and is an intensive eight hour training class. A printed training manual is provided for each student. Class size is limited to eight students. The class is designed for students who already have general knowledge of computers and estimating.
Line Item Development
We can develop additional line items for activities of work unique to a particular site and add them to the localized UPB.
Month/Site Technical Support
Software support is provided via telephone, fax and email for the government and their JOC contractor(s). Support is provided to the government for unit price book issues only. Technical support includes incorporating modifications to the electronic UPB and specifications as directed by the government.
Paperless Solicitation (on CDROM)
U.S. COST will convert the Volume I (specifications), Volume II (contractor UPB), Volume III (owner UPB) and any other electronic documents provided by the government, into PDF format on CDROM (50 Copies). The PDF documents are searchable and book-marked for easy navigation. This is intended to reduce duplication and shipping costs for your RFP. It also provides a compact, easily reproducible and stored copy of your JOC contract documents.
Update specifications
Though we are not specifications writers, U.S. COST will incorporate any specifications supplied by the government in electronic format to the printed Specification, Specification Cross Reference and JOCTool Software.
Cost Estimating
U.S. COST can provide JOC cost estimates for the government using JOCTool, Success Estimator or any other specified cost software in any format.
Scheduled Delivery
U.S. COST performs work on a first come, first served basis. U.S. COST will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the government's goals for delivery. The entire process takes approximately six weeks: Localized Draft UPB - three weeks from receipt of NTP, Final UPB - three weeks from receipt of final client comments
